So much has happened in so little time in my life. Went to Alaska and had a fabulous time! It was a spiritual experience going through Tracy Arm Fjord. I can't even put it into words. Then when we got back from Alaska our daughter's boyfriend proposed, which was not a surprise, and they are getting married on July 13th. I know it seems sudden but my husband and I are very happy for her. They have been dating for 3 1/2 years and he is in the military and wants her with him. They are both very mature for their ages and are very much in love. Her schooling will be taken care of, she'll have insurance and she will be starting a new chapter in her life.
I had surgery on Monday to have a pelvic mesh put in to help me with incontinence. I know a lot of people are negative about the pelvic mesh but I did my research and asked a lot of questions about it with my doctors. Anyhow, I am in pain but not severely and just sore from anesthesia. My upper body and abdomen hurt worse than my actual surgery site for the first 2 days. I was told the type of anesthesia they used can do that in some people. My throat was sore from the breathing tube but it's getting better now. I've done a lot of sleeping! That heals the body better than anything else. I am down to only 1 Hydromorphone a day now and that's usually because I moved around too much.
Thanks to all who have been supportive and said prayers for me.
